Nanjing Huimin Avenue Elevated Bridge Demolition Project

In the Nanjing Huimin Elevated Bridge Demolition Project, traditional demolition methods—such as manual chiseling, mechanical crushing, static blasting, or explosive demolition—are not only inefficient and high-risk but also cause significant environmental pollution. Given the project’s location in downtown Nanjing, safety, environmental sustainability, and zero pollution have become the primary challenges that must be addressed.

Xin Dafang’s independently developed DCMZ48 modular transporter—comprising eight sets—made a striking debut, meeting the “green construction” requirements of high-efficiency operations, environmental friendliness, zero pollution, and minimal disruption to normal traffic. During the demolition process, the Xin Dafang modular transporter functions like a massive hydraulic jack: its 200-plus-ton body can support over 1,600 tons of weight. Once assembled, the transporter autonomously drives under the bridge via remote control and securely braces against the bridge deck. After cutting is complete, the transporter slowly lifts the severed bridge section, raising it clear off the roadway and steadily carrying the thousand-ton bridge segment away from the elevated structure. It then adjusts its angle and moves to a designated dismantling area set up on the roadside, where the bridge section is further disassembled. The entire demolition and transportation process unfolds smoothly, safely, and in an orderly manner, earning unanimous praise from the project owner.

The modular vehicle is a specialized transport vehicle independently developed by Xindafang, equipped with hydraulic lifting, hydraulically driven steering, and hydraulically powered travel. Its defining features include modular manufacturing, modular assembly, modular integrated transportation, and the ability to perform arbitrary modular combinations during operation. Standard modules include 4-axle and 6-axle configurations; by combining different modules, it can transport large, heavy, and irregularly shaped components, making it the preferred choice for modern heavy-lift transportation—particularly in terms of achieving generalization and standardization of heavy-lift transport vehicles in non-standard applications.

It features self-actuated hydraulic lifting and automatic top-end balance adjustment; offers eight travel modes, including straight travel, diagonal travel, lateral travel, figure-eight turning, and center-rotating; is equipped with a wireless remote control that integrates all vehicle-control functions, enabling comprehensive operation and control of the machine; boasts a robust, durable structure with a high-load-bearing design; incorporates a reinforced frame, enhanced undercarriage structure, and heavy-duty wheel assemblies, achieving a maximum single-axle load capacity of 48 tonnes and delivering superior transport capability per module.
