Hefei–Bengbu Connecting Line, Luyang Project

The box-girder erection for the Luyang section of the Hefei–Bengbu Passenger Railway Dedicated Line project, undertaken by China Railway Fourth Bureau, was carried out using the DF900D girder-launching gantry erected by Xinfada Company. The construction process was highly complex, involving both crossing over high-voltage power lines and performing non-stop operations over existing railway lines, with numerous curves and a minimum curve radius of 600 meters. Through the close collaboration between our company’s technical team and on-site construction personnel, we successfully overcame various challenges and completed all erection tasks for the project smoothly, safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The Hefei–Bengbu Passenger Dedicated Line Connecting Line is located in the central-northern part of Anhui Province, stretching from Bengbu in the north to Hefei in the south, with a total length of 130.67 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

Project characteristics: The construction scope encompasses complex conditions involving multiple S-shaped curves combined with steep longitudinal grades, with a maximum grade of 23‰, a minimum curve radius of 600 meters, 12 overpasses spanning existing railway lines, and 6 underpasses passing beneath high-voltage power lines and adjacent electrified railway catenary systems.
