The 2021 Annual Summary and Awards Ceremony of Xindafang, along with the 2022 “Lantern Festival Fun Activities,” Concludes Successfully
Xin Dafang News: On February 15, the fifteenth day of the first lunar month—the Lantern Festival—Xin Dafang Industrial Park was abuzz with festive cheer, as “bright red lanterns hung high and joyful laughter echoed everywhere.” The atmosphere was exceptionally vibrant as Xin Dafang Group held its 2021 Annual Summary and Awards Ceremony along with the 2022 Lantern Festival Entertainment Event today.
The event was chaired by Deputy General Manager Chen Hao and opened with the rousing and uplifting New Dafang anthem, “Flinging Our Dreams.” General Manager Zhang Zhihua delivered the opening address, beginning by extending his warmest holiday greetings to all colleagues and their families at New Dafang, and expressing profound respect and heartfelt gratitude to every New Dafang employee who is working tirelessly on the front lines in their respective roles.
Zhang Zhihua stated that, in the face of a once-in-a-century global transformation, an exceptionally harsh market environment, unprecedented torrential rains and flooding, company-wide lockdowns, three waves of the pandemic, and soaring commodity prices—among other formidable difficulties and challenges—the Group has engaged in meticulous planning, careful organization, and proactive responses at all levels. Upholding the corporate spirit of “daring to fight, adept at fighting, and determined to win,” the Group has courageously sought survival in adversity and seized opportunities amid crisis. While simultaneously prioritizing emergency rescue and disaster relief as well as epidemic prevention and control, it has also vigorously advanced work and production resumption and sound business management. With boldness and vision that would be hard for most to imagine, the Group has pressed forward by overcoming obstacles and continuously surpassed itself in meeting challenges, thereby successfully achieving its annual objectives.
He stated that these achievements are the result of the unwavering dedication and relentless efforts of the Xin Dafang team in their arduous battle against flooding, as well as their selfless commitment and sense of responsibility in bravely confronting the pandemic. We will never forget the courageous individuals who remained steadfast at their posts during flood relief operations, putting the greater good before their own families; nor will we ever forget the heroes who faced the challenges of pandemic lockdowns with composure, sharing the company’s trials and tribulations and standing firmly by its side. With their unique resilience and fortitude, they have provided us with tremendous inspiration and encouragement, infusing us with boundless courage and strength. Their selfless love and dedication have coalesced into an immense force—a spirit of fearlessness in the face of hardship and a determination to strive relentlessly—that enables the Xin Dafang team to confront difficulties and challenges head-on. It is this distinctive “disaster-relief and epidemic-fighting” spirit that has enabled us to compose a moving ode to “fearlessness in the face of adversity and unwavering victory.” Today, every single employee honored shines with the radiant light of the Xin Dafang ethos of “striving and dedication.”
To promote positive values and recognize outstanding individuals and teams, this New Year celebration also included on-site awards for 34 outstanding employees from Chongqing University of Science and Technology, 25 outstanding employees from the Bridge Company, 4 outstanding managers, and 4 exemplary teams (departments and projects). Senior company leaders presented certificates of honor to the awardees and extended their congratulations, while urging all employees to take these role models as examples, learn from them, and make their due contributions in their respective positions.
Subsequently, Deputy General Manager Chen Hao delivered a concluding address. He stated that “the whole year’s plan begins in spring,” and that now is the time to work diligently and pragmatically. With a new journey already underway and a magnificent blueprint firmly in place, he urged everyone to summon the bold spirit of “tiger-like vigor,” muster the energetic drive of “vivacious vitality,” and embody the indomitable spirit of “swallowing up ten thousand li like a tiger.” He called on all to approach their work with even stronger resolve, more robust measures, greater enthusiasm, and a more down-to-earth, meticulous work style—working together in solidarity, pressing forward with unwavering determination, striving to achieve the year’s objectives, and jointly ushering in a brighter, more glorious future for Xindafang.
