Xin Dafang Shines Once Again for “Made in China”: World’s Largest High-Speed Rail Construction Equipment Set Makes a Spectacular Debut in India

Xindafang News: On November 25, the 1,100-ton cross-girder lifting operation—developed independently by Xindafang—successfully completed the erection of the first box girder, marking the official commencement of construction on India’s first high-speed railway line, the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail. Officials from the Indian High-Speed Rail Authority and other relevant government departments attended the site to observe the operation and extend their congratulations.

This set of equipment was officially shipped at the end of July, and at the time of shipment Zhengzhou was hit by a once-in-a-millennium torrential rainstorm, disrupting transportation and hampering logistics. To ensure that the Indian contractor’s project schedule remained on track, Xindafang rose to the challenge, overcoming unimaginable difficulties to complete and dispatch the shipment on time as stipulated in the contract, thereby safeguarding the smooth progress of India’s first high-speed rail project and earning high praise from the Indian side.

At the end of October, the tire-based lifting and assembly were successfully completed, marking the official start of construction. On November 14, the 1,100-ton tire transporter completed the demolding of the first girder. On November 25, the 1,100-ton cross-line lifting operation was smoothly carried out, successfully erecting the first box girder. The entire erection process proceeded smoothly, safely, and efficiently, earning unanimous praise from the Indian side.
