Kaili Project on the Guizhou Section of the Shanghai–Kunming High-Speed Railway

The Guizhou section of the Shanghai–Kunming Passenger Railway Dedicated Line has a total length of 559.5 kilometers, a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour, and a bridge–tunnel ratio of 81.03%. It originates in Yuping County, Tongren City, enters Yunnan Province via Pan County, and connects with the under-construction Guiyang–Guangzhou, Chongqing–Guizhou, and Chengdu–Guiyang railways.
Project characteristics: The project features numerous bridge–tunnel connection sections, with girder erection carried out along the entire route under gradient conditions, including a maximum longitudinal grade of 20‰; girder erection is completed within the tunnels. A tunnel-passing, split-type girder-erection and transport system is employed, enabling girder erection with a minimum clearance of 6.7 meters at the tunnel portal and 6.6 meters at the tunnel exit.
