Wang Yuehua, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Zhengzhou, Visits and Inspects the Xindafang Girder Yard
Xin Dafang News: On July 31, Wang Yuehua, a member of the Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, led heads of relevant municipal departments, including the Municipal Construction Commission and the Municipal Planning Bureau, on a visit to the Xin Dafang Girder Yard to conduct an inspection and provide guidance on the construction of the Fourth Ring Road and the expressway upgrade project for Dahe Road. Zhang Junfeng, a member of the Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, Vice Mayor Wu Fumin, and Municipal Government Secretary-General Wang Wanpeng accompanied the delegation. Chairman Zhang Zhihua delivered a work report.
Wang Yuehua and his delegation conducted on-site supervision and inspection of the construction progress at the Xindafang Beam Yard. He stated that the Fourth Ring Road and the Dahé Road Expressway Project serve as a rapid transit corridor connecting Zhengzhou’s main urban area with the surrounding counties, county-level cities, and districts, playing a vital role in improving the urban road network framework, facilitating convenient travel, and enhancing the city’s capacity to support growth. He urged all relevant departments and construction contractors to collaborate closely, focus on resolving the difficulties and challenges hindering project implementation, intensify their efforts, improve work efficiency, and ensure timely project completion. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to advance project construction to high standards and with stringent requirements to guarantee both quality and safety.
Chairman Zhang Zhihua presented a work report to Wang Yuehua and his delegation. He stated that the Fourth Ring Road project is currently the largest single municipal bridge construction project in the world in terms of total investment, characterized by a massive volume of segmental girder precasting and stringent technical requirements, necessitating focused research and technological breakthroughs in numerous new technologies, new materials, new processes, and new equipment. To ensure the successful completion of the precasting tasks and timely delivery, the Xindafang Mazhai Girder Yard will meticulously organize and scientifically plan its operations, “roll up our sleeves and work hard, joining forces to build the Fourth Ring Road,” and strive with a hundredfold effort to deliver to the people of Zhengzhou a highly satisfactory outcome in the construction of green, technology-driven, intelligent urban bridges.
