Vice Mayor Wu Fumin Visits Xindafang to Inspect the Construction of the Fourth Ring Beam Yard
Xin Dafang News: On March 2, in view of the stringent technical requirements, large production volume, and tight schedule associated with the precasting of segmental girders for the Fourth Ring Road project, Vice Mayor Wu Fumin and his delegation conducted a field inspection and review at the Xin Dafang Girder Yard. Chairman Zhang Zhihua accompanied the delegation and provided a briefing, outlining the progress in formwork and yard equipment installation as well as the challenges related to essential needs such as power supply and funding, and submitted a work report to Vice Mayor Wu.
Mayor Wu and his delegation conducted on-site inspections of the precast yard planning as well as the construction of the mixing station, rebar tying workshop, girder fabrication beds, and girder storage area, and commended the current progress of the precast yard at Xindafang. He stated that, as a National Enterprise Technology Center and a National High-tech Enterprise in China’s bridge industry, Xindafang boasts a Postdoctoral Programme and an Academician Workstation, coupled with favorable site conditions, which have laid a solid foundation for the prefabrication of segmental box girders.
At the conclusion of the field visit, Mayor Wu put forward specific requirements for Xindafang’s next steps and expressed high expectations for the company. He urged Xindafang to set high standards, enforce stringent quality control, and establish industry benchmarks across the entire value chain—ranging from segmental girder prefabrication and equipment R&D to big-data infrastructure development—in order to make vigorous contributions to the development of the Zhengzhou Green Construction Industrial Park.
