The 2015 Employee Sports Meet of Xindafang Was Successfully Held
Xindafang News: On May 16, the 2015 Employee Sports Meet of Xindafang was successfully held, with nearly 400 employees taking part in a total of 10 events, including team competitions such as tug-of-war, the 400-meter relay, basketball, and the six-person, twelve-foot group wooden-shoe race, as well as individual events like tire-pushing, badminton, table tennis, billiards, jump rope, and Chinese chess. The event fully showcased the vibrant energy, positive spirit, and unwavering enthusiasm of all staff members.
At 8:40 a.m., the youthful call of “I exercise, I am healthy, I am happy!” resounded in every corner of the industrial park. All employees of Xindafang gathered at the company’s basketball court for the opening ceremony of the sports meet, where representatives of the athletes and referees took an oath on the spot. Chairman Zhang Zhihua delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, stating that the sports meet is a grand event for comprehensively reviewing the company’s level of sports activities and the achievements in building its Culture, as well as a major showcase of the moral character, ideological style, and spiritual outlook of all employees. He expressed his hope that all athletes would demonstrate excellent competitive form and team spirit to achieve the goal of “always striving for first place.”
At 9:00 a.m., the competition officially got underway. All participants, guided by the principle of “friendship first, competition second,” enthusiastically engaged in the events, while those not competing cheered on their colleagues from the sidelines. Senior leaders—including the Chairman, the Director of the Technology Center, and the Deputy General Manager of the Production and Manufacturing Center—also joined the cheering squad, sharing the joy of sports with company employees. The roar of encouragement and support was deafening, with cheers and shouts rising and falling in an electrifying atmosphere.
All participants rigorously adhered to the competition rules, demonstrating humility in victory and resilience in defeat. They showcased their true abilities and exemplary sportsmanship, fully embodying the spirit of the people of Xin Dafang: relentless self-improvement, unwavering determination, unity, and concerted effort.
Meanwhile, to encourage everyone’s enthusiasm for participating in the event, the company has prepared generous prizes for the first-, second-, and third-place winners, which will be distributed collectively after the competition.
