Warm congratulations to Chen Deli and Zhou Zhiguo on being awarded the honorable title of “Zhengzhou City Model Worker.”
Xin Dafang News: On the morning of April 28, the Zhengzhou Municipal Celebration of International Labor Day and the Commendation Conference for Model Workers (Advanced Personnel) for the 2008–2013 Period were held at the Municipal Youth Palace, solemnly honoring model workers and advanced personnel who have emerged in recent years in the city’s economic and social development. The event called on all sectors of society to learn from and carry forward the spirit of model workers, thereby contributing to the accelerated development of the Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area within the Central Plains Economic Zone.
At this conference, a total of 459 comrades were awarded the honorary title of “Zhengzhou City Model Worker (Advanced Worker).” Among them, Chen Deli, Deputy Chief Engineer of Xindafang, was honored as a “Model Worker from the New Social Strata,” and Zhou Zhiguo, Director of the Bridge Crane Workshop, was honored as a “Model Worker in the Enterprise.”
Since joining Xindafang, Comrade Chen Deli has been deeply engaged in frontline scientific research and design. Over the past decade or so, he has led the R&D Team in undertaking and participating in the development of a series of national key projects on major technological equipment during the 10th Five-Year Plan period, national key new product programs, science and technology development programs of the Ministry of Railways, as well as major provincial, municipal, and district science and technology tackling programs. His research achievements have filled several domestic gaps, with some even reaching the international leading level; he has received more than ten science and technology awards at the provincial, ministerial, and Zhengzhou municipal levels, and obtained more than ten patents, making outstanding contributions to improving the overall level of construction equipment for China’s high-speed passenger rail lines and expressways.
Comrade Zhou Zhiguo is deeply committed to technical excellence. In alignment with the company’s strategy of extending and strengthening the industrial value chain, he has diligently developed new products in response to market needs, ensuring that our offerings remain relevant and competitive. He continuously enhances his design capabilities, pursues perfection in every detail, and ensures ongoing product optimization and upgrades. Over the years, he has participated in the product design for numerous cutting-edge projects, including self-propelled mobile formwork systems (both upward- and downward-moving), downward-moving bridge-launching machines, automated formwork systems, guide-beam-type fixed-point lifting bridge-launching machines, down-guided-beam bridge-launching machines, segmental assembly bridge-launching machines, and groove-excavating machines, among others. His outstanding achievements have laid a solid foundation for the company’s expansion into new markets.
More than ten municipal leaders, including Wu Tianjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Ma Yi, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the meeting and presented awards to the winners. The meeting was chaired by Wang Zhang, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee.
Ma Yi, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal People’s Congress, the Municipal Government, the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and the Zhengzhou Garrison District, extended profound respect to the honored model workers (advanced individuals) and extended festive greetings to the broad ranks of cadres, employees, and the working masses who are diligently performing their duties across all sectors and on all fronts.
