Warm congratulations to Li Jianguo, Deputy Minister of Materials Management, on being elected as one of Zhengzhou’s “Top Ten and Hundred Outstanding Youth in Relocated Employment”!
Xindafang News: In order to recognize the outstanding contributions made by a large number of young people who have migrated for employment—those without Zhengzhou household registration—to the city’s reform and opening-up drive and to the development of both material and cultural civilization, the Zhengzhou Municipal Government annually organizes the “Top Ten and Hundred Outstanding Migrant Workers” selection event. This initiative aims to highlight exemplary role models among migrant workers, showcase their remarkable achievements, and promote the spirit and accomplishments of this group in our city. In 2012, the event had already reached its 13th edition.
The “Top Ten and Hundred Outstanding Youth in Relocated Employment” title may be nominated by organizations (with each organization eligible to nominate 1–2 candidates), provided that nominees demonstrate strong political integrity, high moral standards, outstanding work performance, a strong capacity to endure hardship, and a robust spirit of innovation; have made significant contributions to the company’s development in their respective roles; and serve as key personnel in management, operations, or technical functions. Nominees must not hold household registration in Zhengzhou and must have worked continuously at the company for at least one year (our company requires a minimum of five years). Following multiple rounds of selection, Li Jianguo, Head of the Logistics Department and recommended by the company, was named a recipient of the 13th Zhengzhou “Hundred Outstanding Youth in Relocated Employment” award. (See Appendix on Page 4 for Li Jianguo’s individual nomination materials.)
Those honored with the “Top Ten and Top Hundred” titles will be awarded the May Day Labor Medal by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Municipal Communist Youth League Committee, and the Municipal Women’s Federation, respectively, as well as the titles of “New Long March Commando” and “March 8th Red Banner Holder.” In addition, relevant departments will assist eligible young people among the Top Ten and Top Hundred who wish to settle in Zhengzhou with the procedures for transferring their household registration to the city.
