Showcasing Excellence and Demonstrating Responsibility | New Dafang Employee Delegation Makes a Spectacular Appearance at the Opening Ceremony of the 13th Erqi District Workers’ Games
On the afternoon of April 28, the Zhengzhou Railway Sports Activity Center was abuzz with excitement as the 13th Erqi District Workers’ Games, hosted by the Erqi District Committee and District Government and organized by the District Federation of Trade Unions, the District Education Bureau, and the District Bureau of Culture, Tourism, and Sports, was solemnly inaugurated. Fan Huilin, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Hu Rongxin, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Mayor, along with other leading officials, attended the opening ceremony. More than 6,000 participants—representing 70 teams from enterprises and public institutions across the district and comprising cadres and employees from grassroots trade unions—gathered to witness this grand sporting event.
At the opening ceremony, Liu Zike, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the District People’s Congress, as well as Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, delivered a speech on behalf of the Games Organizing Committee. He expressed his hope that the entire district would take this Games as an opportunity to adopt a spirit of hard work and striving for progress, thereby injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of a beautiful Erqi District and delivering outstanding results to the District Party Committee, the District Government, and all the residents of the district. Following this, representatives of the athletes and referees each took an oath.
Amid warm applause from the entire audience, Fan Huilin, Secretary of the District Party Committee, solemnly declared: “The 13th Erqi District Workers’ Games are now officially open!”
This sports meet is themed “Unite as One, Strive Bravely, and Lead the Way to Create a Bright Future for Erqi.” At precisely 3:00 p.m., the rousing athletes’ march began, and the National Flag Guard solemnly escorted the Five-Star Red Flag into the venue. Following this, the parade formations of each delegation, clad in uniform attire, marched in precise, resounding steps past the rostrum—some carrying eye-catching banners that showcased their professional spirit, while others performed lively dances that exuded youthful energy. With every step synchronized and powerful, and with loud, spirited slogans echoing throughout the arena, the event fully demonstrated the united, striving, and upward-looking spirit of the Erqi workforce.
At the invitation of the organizers, Xindafang assembled a 36-member delegation of employee representatives to take part in the opening ceremony and present a dynamic display of their spirit. As the host’s impassioned voice rang out, the 36 participants marched proudly toward the rostrum, heads held high and steps firm and deliberate, each holding a red flag. Their movements were crisp, precise, and perfectly synchronized, vividly showcasing the passion and boldness of the Xindafang team as well as their vigorous and spirited demeanor. Under the azure sky, the red flags in their hands gleamed especially brightly, while the slogan “Innovative Development, Unremitting Self-Improvement, Major National Instruments, Dedication to Erqi” resounded with majestic clarity, transforming the entire sports venue into a strikingly beautiful scene.
Sharing the excitement of sports and jointly creating corporate glory—this showcase is not only a vivid embodiment of the New Dafang team’s positive, united, and striving spirit, but also a testament to the workforce’s vigorous energy and indomitable fighting spirit. Moving forward, the people of New Dafang will carry on the momentum, press ahead with determination, and continue to infuse Erqi District’s high-quality development with robust innovative vitality and relentless drive.
