Top Ten Events of Xindafang Group in 2024
As 2024 draws to a close, New Dafang has risen to the formidable challenges of global economic downturn and insufficient demand brought about by once-in-a-century changes. In response, the company has promptly adjusted its business strategy: leveraging the optimization of existing products to consolidate established markets; using the R&D of new products as a breakthrough to expand into new fields; focusing on developing overseas markets to drive market transformation; and aiming for “integrated group management” to achieve resource sharing and efficiency improvement. The results have been remarkable, with substantial gains across the board. The company has achieved outstanding success in innovation, market development, production efficiency enhancement, and brand building.
I. Operational Breakthroughs, Reaching New Highs
In 2024, the company promptly optimized its organizational structure and adjusted its core business direction in response to market changes, while implementing precision marketing. As a result, the group company achieved another historic breakthrough in new order acquisitions. Under such a challenging market environment, this is truly commendable and worthy of celebration.
II. Government Care and High Expectations
In October, An Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee, visited Xindafang, expressing high expectations for the company’s development. He urged the company to leverage technological innovation to accelerate the formation of new-quality productive forces, use high-quality corporate development to bolster the construction of Zhengzhou as a central city, and make fresh contributions to the practice of Chinese-style modernization in Zhengzhou.
III. Asset Development: Steady and Solid Progress
The Xindafang Small and Micro Enterprise Park and the Urban Renewal Smart Complex have been designated as key provincial and municipal projects, respectively. By “extending the innovation chain to strengthen the industrial chain” and fostering new business models, the Group is striving to achieve both quantitative growth and qualitative improvement, with the aim of becoming a globally competitive integrated service provider.
IV. Summary and Recognition: Steady and Solid Progress
In August, the company convened a meeting to review and commend achievements for the first half of the year and to outline plans for the second half, recognizing outstanding performers from the first half, setting the strategic direction and key priorities for the second half, and fostering a corporate culture characterized by unity, determination, and a relentless drive to succeed—thus laying a solid foundation for achieving the annual objectives.
V. Further Breakthroughs in Scientific and Technological Innovation
China’s first DCD30 and DCD60+40 tunnel material transport vehicles have successfully rolled off the production line; an aircraft rescue vehicle has achieved highly precise formation flying among three units, marking a new breakthrough for the company in the green and intelligent transformation of the specialized transportation sector; the DGC75 crawler-mounted pipe对接vehicle has been successfully developed and put into operation, effectively resolving the challenges of pipeline jointing under steep gradients, high-voltage power lines, and steel sheet-pile support conditions, with construction efficiency more than doubling; and the Xiamen–Kinmen Bridge’s 60-meter-span, 3,500-ton mobile formwork system has once again broken records for both heavy lifting capacity and long spans. Innovation knows no bounds, and now is the time to forge ahead—this series of innovative achievements underscores the company’s culture of innovation, its innovative potential, and its robust innovation capabilities.
VI. Customer Recognition, Breaking into Europe and the United States
The DCY80+30 material transport train has successfully passed on-site acceptance by the customer; four girder-launching machines have obtained CE certification, securing access to the European and American markets and supporting the construction of local girder yards; furthermore, the segment-erection bridge-launching machine has also been shipped smoothly to its destination. These achievements demonstrate that the company’s design, manufacturing, and service standards are now aligned with international benchmarks, thereby opening the door to the European and American markets.
VII. Rise to Challenges and Overcome Difficulties
The bridge equipment slewing device independently developed by the engineering company has been successfully deployed on the Banzhu section of the Chongqing–Wanzhou High-Speed Railway, enabling the DYJ900 integrated launching and erection machine to perform a turn in place and thereby resolving the challenge of maneuvering equipment in confined spaces. Adversity is nothing to fear; what is truly daunting is retreating in the face of difficulty. The engineering company’s spirit of unity, determination, and boldness in tackling challenges is worthy of our emulation.
VIII. Project Subcontracting: Opening Up the Market
The Singapore J109 project has safely and smoothly erected more than 100 girder segments, marking the company’s second entry into the bridge-construction market of developed countries as a subcontractor following its successful bridge-erection work in Dubai. This achievement fully demonstrates the company’s brand reputation and technical capabilities.
IX. Abundant Achievements in Science and Technology Awards
The science communication video “Bridge-Building Powerhouse—900-Ton Integrated Transport-and-Erecting Machine” won the First Prize in the National “Cloud Talks on New Technology” Science Communication Competition; the project “Key Technologies and Industrialization of Green Intelligent Bridge-Erecting Machines for Fully Prefabricated, Assembled Bridges” was awarded the Grand Prize of the Henan Provincial Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award; the technology “Complete Sets of Construction Equipment for Water Resource Allocation Projects” received an Excellence Award in the Zhengzhou High-Value Patent Competition; the company was recognized as a “Single-Champion” enterprise in Henan Province’s manufacturing sector; it was also named among the Top 50 Innovative Enterprises and the Top 50 Emerging Forces in Zhengzhou; and it was honored as an “Outstanding Enterprise for Transformation and Innovation in Zhengzhou.” The receipt of these various awards represents recognition and encouragement from all sectors of society for the company’s year-round business operations, and plays a vital role in further expanding the company’s influence and enhancing its brand value.
X. Social Recognition and Organizational Trust
Tao Yunfeng, Director of Production, has been awarded the honorary title of “Model Worker of Henan Province.” This honor belongs not only to him as an individual but also to the company; it is a recognition and commendation from all sectors of society, as well as an encouragement and affirmation for the entire Xin Dafang team.
