Xin Dafang Awarded as a “First Batch of High-Value Patent Cultivation Centers” in Henan Province
Xin Dafang News: On the morning of April 20, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Intellectual Property Public Awareness Week, themed “Embarking on a New Journey toward Building a Country Strong in Intellectual Property,” was held at the National Intellectual Property Creative Industry Pilot Park in Jinshui District. The event was jointly organized by the Henan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation (Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau), the Zhengzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Municipal Intellectual Property Bureau), and the National Intellectual Property Creative Industry Pilot Park in Jinshui District.
At the opening ceremony, the Intellectual Property Protection Division of the Henan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation released the Top Ten Typical Cases of Administrative IP Protection in the Province for 2021. These cases cover a range of matters involving patents, trademarks, and other types of IP rights, and are presented as exemplary cases to promote public legal education, thereby playing a positive role in further enhancing the general public’s awareness of IP protection.
During the event, a plaque-awarding ceremony was held for the Henan Branch Office of the National Center for Guidance on Responding to Overseas Intellectual Property Disputes, a loan-disbursement ceremony for patent-pledge financing in Henan Province, and a plaque-awarding ceremony for the first batch of High-Value Patent Cultivation Centers in Henan Province. Notably, Xindafang was designated as one of the “First Batch of High-Value Patent Cultivation Centers” in Henan Province, with only three enterprises receiving such designation in this inaugural cohort.
The “First Batch of High-Value Patent Cultivation Centers” project in Henan Province was finalized in 2019 following Xindafang’s self-application, the Zhengzhou Municipal Intellectual Property Bureau’s active recommendation, expert review, and public online announcement.
Since its inception, Xindafang has aligned itself closely with the strategic priorities of Henan Province’s economic and social development. It has proactively collaborated with universities and leading intellectual property service institutions to establish a High-Value Patent Cultivation Center. Focusing on the province’s key strategic emerging industries and priority pillar industries outlined in the 13th Five-Year Plan, Xindafang has deepened industry–university–research collaborative innovation, achieved breakthroughs in critical core technologies for large-scale specialized construction equipment, and cultivated a portfolio of high-value patents that are highly competitive on the international stage and capable of driving industrial development. These efforts have made a significant contribution to the province’s industrial transformation and upgrading as well as to its pursuit of high-quality economic growth.
Among these achievements, the project has been granted a total of 35 patents and 13 software copyrights, including 10 invention patents. The high-value patented innovation “Complete Set of Technology and Equipment for Lifting, Transporting, and Erection of Prefabricated Components at the Thousand-Ton Scale” has been recognized as one of the Ten Landmark High-End Equipment Items in Henan Province’s Equipment Manufacturing Industry; another high-value patent achievement, the “DLT1000 Tire-Type Handling Machine,” has been awarded the title of Henan Province’s First Set of Major Technical Equipment. In addition, the company has successfully obtained certification under the Enterprise Intellectual Property Management System. The project has also received prestigious awards, including the First Prize of the Henan Provincial Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award and the Second Prize of the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. Furthermore, the group standard “Bridge Deck Gantry Cranes,” spearheaded by Xindafang, has now been officially promulgated and implemented.
