Track-laying underway on the Meizhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge of the Fuzhou–Xiamen High-Speed Railway
The Meizhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge is China’s first low-tower cable-stayed high-speed railway bridge spanning the sea, and it also serves as the key control project for the entire Fuzhou–Xiamen High-Speed Railway. Despite challenging conditions such as strong winds and rough seas, the construction and contracting teams overcame numerous technical hurdles—including the construction of an ultra-long offshore trestle and large-diameter deep-water pile foundations—thereby ensuring the smooth completion of track-laying operations.

On April 15, track-laying was successfully completed on the Meizhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge of the Fuzhou–Xiamen High-Speed Railway. The photo shows the construction operation scene.
