Chairman Zhang Zhihua Attends the 10th Congress of the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) and Delivers a Work Report
Xin Dafang News: On March 9, the 10th Congress of the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was held successfully. As the Chairman of the 9th Executive Committee of the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chairman Zhang Zhihua attended the congress and delivered a work report.
Leaders of the district, including Chen Hongmin, Li Zhuoyu, Li Ya, Zhai Guofang, and Wu Shuwen, attended the meeting, which was also attended by 143 representatives from enterprises. The conference heard and deliberated the work report of the Ninth Executive Committee of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, and proceeded to elect the Tenth Executive Committee of the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) as well as the leadership team of the General Chamber of Commerce. Notably, Liu Jian, Director of the General Office, was elected Vice President of the Tenth General Chamber of Commerce of the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce).
Chen Hongmin, Secretary of the District Party Committee, on behalf of the district’s four leading bodies, extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of the conference and conveyed sincere greetings and heartfelt gratitude to the broad ranks of private-sector entrepreneurs who have long made positive contributions to the economic and social development of Erqi District. Chen Hongmin stated that, over the years, the District Federation of Industry and Commerce has united and led private-sector entrepreneurs and its members in steadfastly focusing on the central tasks and serving the overall situation, playing an active role and making outstanding contributions in areas such as supporting development, participating in state affairs and policy deliberation, and assuming responsibility and taking action. The new leadership team of the Federation must emphasize political guidance, expand service functions, and strengthen its sense of mission and responsibility; building on past achievements while forging ahead, it should strive for even greater successes, write a new chapter in the development of the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce, make greater contributions to elevating the private sector in Erqi District to world-class standards, and greet the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with outstanding results.
In the work report, Zhang Zhihua provided a brief summary of the Federation of Industry and Commerce’s activities. He stated that the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce has been recognized as an advanced unit by the Zhengzhou Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce for many consecutive years; awarded the title of “Advanced Unit in Building Harmonious Labor Relations in Zhengzhou” by the Zhengzhou Municipal Government; designated as an advanced grassroots unit for private enterprise survey work by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce in both 2020 and 2021; and, since 2017, consecutively honored for five years running by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce with the “Five Excellences” title for county-level federations of industry and commerce. These achievements have been made possible thanks to the strong guidance of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as the steadfast leadership of the CPC Erqi District Committee and the Erqi District People’s Government, and they are the result of the hard work and dedication of all members of the Executive Committee. On behalf of the Ninth Executive Committee of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, he extended heartfelt gratitude and profound respect to leaders at all levels and people from all sectors who have supported and shown concern for the development of the District Federation’s undertakings, as well as to the broad membership and entrepreneur friends!
Regarding the future development of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, Zhang Zhihua put forward several recommendations and strategic approaches. He emphasized that the next step is to elevate our political awareness and broadly build consensus among private-sector entrepreneurs; to deliver more substantive and in-depth services that drive high-quality development of the private economy; and to strengthen the organization itself, thereby solidifying the foundation for promoting “two healthy outcomes.” It is essential to deeply understand the new development philosophy, actively integrate into the new development paradigm, seize opportunities, and capitalize on favorable momentum. In the course of comprehensively building a modern socialist country, we must contribute the strength of private enterprises and achieve outstanding results in order to warmly welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China!
