The 2020 Employee Sports Meet of Xindafang Was Grandly Held
Xindafang News: On November 7, the sky was high and the clouds were sparse, with crisp, refreshing autumn air. The basketball court at the Xindafang Industrial Park was abuzz with lively chatter and excitement, as the annual Employees’ Sports Meet was being held in grand style today.
Zhang Zhihua, Chairman of Xindafang Group, delivered the opening address, stating that the employees’ sports meet serves, on the one hand, to strengthen camaraderie, interaction, communication, and mutual understanding among departments, thereby fostering emotional bonds and deepening friendships and creating a cooperative atmosphere characterized by unity, ambition, friendliness, and harmony. On the other hand, it aims to enrich employees’ extracurricular cultural life, enable everyone to experience the joy of sport, and thus enhance their awareness of the importance of physical fitness and overall health. Furthermore, the event is intended to showcase the vibrant and energetic spirit of the Xindafang Beam Yard and to project a healthy, stable corporate image.
This sports meet saw the participation of more than 200 individuals from organizations including Xindafang Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd., Xindafang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd., and Xindafang Construction Technology Co., Ltd., competing in 10 events. The team events included tug-of-war, basketball, “Rolling Wheels,” the 400-meter relay, and double dutch; the individual events comprised jump rope, shuttlecock kicking, checkers, Chinese chess, and standing long jump. Basketball courts, dining halls, and the main thoroughfares throughout the factory grounds were packed with participants, as cheers, shouts, and words of encouragement echoed one after another, infusing the atmosphere with passion and energy.
