“The Procuratorial Organs Partner with the Federation of Industry and Commerce to Provide Precise Legal Services to Private Enterprises” Event Comes to Xindafang
Xin Dafang News: To provide targeted support for the development of the private sector, on May 22, the Erqi District People’s Procuratorate and the Erqi District Federation of Industry and Commerce jointly signed the “Opinions on Establishing and Improving a Communication and Coordination Mechanism to Serve the Development of Private Enterprises” at Xin Dafang. This document provides institutional guidelines and mechanistic safeguards for the procuratorial organs to leverage their prosecutorial functions in supporting and protecting the development of the private sector.
The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yongjie, a full-time member of the Procuratorial Committee of the Erqi District People’s Procuratorate. Attending the event were Si Yongjun, head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team stationed at the Municipal Procuratorate under the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision and a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Procuratorate; Tang Lijun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Erqi District Committee and head of the United Front Work Department; Jia Jia, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chief Prosecutor of the Erqi District People’s Procuratorate; Wang Bo, Director of the Management Committee of the Mazhai Industrial Cluster Zone; Zhang Zhihua, a representative to the Provincial People’s Congress, Chairman of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of Zhengzhou New Dafang Heavy Industry Science And Technology Co., Ltd.; Dang Chunli, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce; as well as 23 other entrepreneur representatives, totaling 25 participants.
Zhang Zhihua, a deputy to the Provincial People’s Congress, chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Erqi District, and chairman of Zhengzhou New Dafang Heavy Industry Science And Technology Co., Ltd., took Zhengzhou New Dafang Heavy Industry Science And Technology Co., Ltd. as the starting point to share private enterprises’ views and feelings on this joint signing, and put forward three suggestions: first, it is hoped that through this joint signing document, legal publicity and legal aid for private enterprises and entrepreneurs will become routine; second, cases involving private enterprises should be handled with a developmental perspective, so that the handling of such cases will be more rational and the normal operation of private enterprises will be fully guaranteed; third, after this joint signing ceremony, the procuratorial organs can regularly conduct legal publicity lectures, so that private entrepreneurs and employees can learn and understand the law.
Jia Jia, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Procurator-General of the Erqi District People’s Procuratorate, stated that the joint issuance of the document is aimed at thoroughly implementing the CPC Central Committee’s guiding principles on serving and safeguarding the development of the private economy, as well as the relevant work arrangements of the higher-level procuratorial organs. By fully leveraging the functions and roles of the procuratorial organs, the initiative seeks to create a favorable rule-of-law environment for private enterprises and entrepreneurs in the jurisdiction to innovate and start businesses, thereby providing them with greater confidence and peace of mind to focus on development and actively promoting the healthy, high-quality development of the private sector. The Erqi District People’s Procuratorate will consciously adopt a holistic perspective, strengthen its sense of responsibility and commitment, and make all-out efforts to deliver comprehensive services and safeguards, thus providing robust judicial support for advancing the high-quality development of “Three Erqis” and building a modern, international, eco-friendly new urban district.
Tang Lijun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Erqi District CPC Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, put forward requirements for serving the development of private enterprises in the district from three perspectives: attaching great importance to the issue, taking proactive measures, and governing enterprises in accordance with the law. She expressed the hope that the People’s Procuratorate and the Federation of Industry and Commerce would promptly commence their work to effectively support the development of private enterprises.
Si Yongjun, Head of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision’s Resident Inspection Team at the Municipal People’s Procuratorate and a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Procuratorate, put forward requirements in three areas: raising political awareness, giving equal emphasis to oversight and support, and establishing long-term mechanisms. He expressed the hope that the Procuratorate and the Federation of Industry and Commerce would further strengthen their sense of service and support, elevate the level of such services, and enhance their effectiveness.
