Zhengzhou Xindafang’s QLY1760 Wind Turbine Crane Successfully Completes Type Testing

Xindafang News: Recently, Xindafang’s independently developed sixth-generation wind-turbine-specific crane, model QLY1760, successfully passed multi-condition type-testing and certification at the company’s premises.

The QLY1760 wind-turbine-specific crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 106 tonnes, a total power rating of 440 kW, a maximum gradeability of 20%, a maximum lifting speed of 16 m/min, and a maximum travel speed of 5 km/h, making it suitable for the hoisting of wind turbines with a hub height of 125 meters and a rated capacity of 2.5 MW or less. The upper carriage features a vertical tower design with in-place positioning and multi-stage telescopic truss structure, hydraulic automatic pin insertion, automatic leveling, and self-erecting boom. The lower chassis incorporates integrated outrigger-and-frame tire undercarriage, large-diameter off-road tires, independent suspension, independent steering, and multiple travel modes, enabling it to adapt to diverse wind-farm environments such as mountainous areas, hilly terrain, tidal flats, and plains—making it the optimal choice for onshore wind-turbine installation.
