Xu Jianping, Deputy Director-General of the National Development and Reform Commission’s Department of National Defense, Inspects Xin Dafang
Xindafang News: On September 20, Xu Jianping, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission’s Department of National Defense, visited the Xindafang Industrial Park, accompanied by Guo Wei, Deputy Director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission; Yin Jianyong, Director of the Provincial Office for National Economic Mobilization; Deng Xinghua, Assistant Research Fellow at the School of Public Administration of Tsinghua University; Liu Yalin, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Head of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission; as well as other provincial and municipal leaders, to conduct an on-site inspection of the development of non-public enterprises’ participation in national defense efforts.
Chairman Zhang Zhihua briefly introduced the company’s current development status to Director Xu and his delegation, and provided a detailed explanation of the company’s main products, its innovation capabilities, and the plans and progress of its involvement in national defense. He stated that, as a leading enterprise in China’s specialized construction equipment manufacturing industry, Xindafang has been exploring the path of “military-civilian integration and serving the country through industry,” aiming to contribute to major national initiatives such as national defense construction, equipment upgrading, and the enhancement of the nation’s emergency rescue capabilities.
Director Xu fully endorsed Xindafang’s commitment to engaging in national defense and pursuing a corporate development path characterized by military–civilian integration. He then held discussions with Zhang Zhihua on the specific areas and modalities in which such enterprises require state support, and put forward relevant recommendations on the operational measures for further advancing the implementation of the “Military Industry Plus” strategy.
