Xin Dafang Secures Sales Contract for Its First 2,000-Ton Self-Propelled Modular Transporter

Xindafang News: Recently, Xindafang’s independently developed 2,000-ton self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) successfully secured a contract, marking the company’s entry into both the domestic and international heavy-lift transportation equipment markets.

The 56-axle SPMT independently developed by Xindafang is one of the company’s new products driving its transformation and upgrade, boasting broad market prospects. The DCMZ40 self-propelled modular transporter is a high-end, “mechanical–electrical–hydraulic integrated” heavy-haul transport vehicle equipped with multi-mode steering, safety control, platooning networking, and fault-diagnosis capabilities. It features independent multi-mode steering and platform-lifting functions, and can be remotely operated to flexibly configure and couple transport units according to the characteristics of the cargo being moved—such as its external dimensions and tonnage. An embedded network-based platooning control system enables synchronous operation of the modular train, including synchronized forward and reverse movement, turning, and lifting, thereby facilitating the integral transportation of ultra-large-tonnage objects.

Moreover, the DCMZ40 self-propelled modular transporter is capable of addressing transportation challenges associated with large, monolithic, and difficult-to-disassemble equipment—such as ultra-long, ultra-wide, and ultra-heavy cargo—including relocation, short-haul transport, and roll-on/roll-off operations at ports and terminals. It also meets the heavy-haul transportation needs of various engineering projects, including shipbuilding, offshore engineering, wind power, nuclear power, high-speed rail, chemical processing, road and bridge construction, metallurgy, and water conservancy. In addition, it can handle the short-haul transport of large components weighing over 10,000 tons, thereby laying a solid foundation for enhancing efficiency in the manufacturing sector.

The successful development of the self-propelled modular transporter will significantly broaden our company’s portfolio of specialized vehicles, optimize our product mix, lay a solid foundation for expanding into both domestic and international markets, and contribute to the successful implementation of our transformation and upgrading strategy.
