Four MQ4040 gantry cranes have been successfully installed at Dafeng Port.
Xindafang News: Recently, the four MQ4040 gantry cranes for Phase III of Dafeng Port Terminal, which our company undertook to construct, have been successfully installed at the terminal. Electrical system commissioning is currently proceeding in an orderly manner; two of the cranes completed commissioning on January 15 and were delivered to the client for use, while the remaining two were delivered on February 15.
The MQ4040 gantry crane integrates multiple functions—hook lifting, grab handling, and container spreader operation—making it the highest-duty-class, largest-lifting-capacity, and fastest-operating gantry crane currently available in China’s port sector. In addition to the four gantry cranes, the project also includes four large rail-mounted hopper handling units, with the gantry cranes and hoppers forming a complete bulk cargo unloading system at the terminal. This project marks our company’s first undertaking of a full-package port equipment solution and serves as a flagship product symbolizing our transformation and upgrade. The successful completion of this project will not only earn our company widespread market recognition in the port equipment industry but also stand as a landmark achievement in our ongoing efforts to upgrade, transform, and expand our market presence.
In accordance with the company’s “One Project, One Plan” operational management model and under the guidance of the company’s sound strategic vision, Project Team Leader Li Gang has organized the project team into ten functional groups—namely the Project Management Group, the Design and Technical Support Group, the Quality Monitoring Group, and others—to ensure coordinated project execution. The team rigorously controls every stage of the project, ensuring that all issues are identified and resolved promptly, thereby maintaining full quality control and guaranteeing that production schedules stay on track as planned. Through the concerted efforts of all parties involved, the project ultimately met the customer’s specific timeline requirements, earning the customer’s recognition and high praise.
The successful delivery of the MQ4040 equipment for Dafeng Port will lay a solid foundation for our company’s entry into the port equipment industry!
