Special Lecture on Work Safety Held at Xindafang during “Henan Province Safety Science and Technology Week”
News from New Dafang: On the afternoon of May 23, Mazhai Town successfully hosted a special lecture on work safety during the 2013 Henan Provincial Safety Science and Technology Week at Zhengzhou New Dafang Heavy Industry Science And Technology Co., Ltd. More than 70 people attended the lecture, including Chen Qingwei, Chief Engineer of the Provincial Administration of Work Safety; Si Gong, Chief Engineer of the Provincial Academy of Safety Science; Wang Yanhua, Director of the Zhengzhou Municipal Administration of Work Safety; Li Jianxin, Director of the Regulations Division of the Zhengzhou Municipal Administration of Work Safety; Wang Wei, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the District Administration of Work Safety; Zhang Yuqiang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Mazhai Town; Li Junling, General Manager of the New Dafang Production and Manufacturing Center and Director of the Safety Office; as well as experts and leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district levels and heads of relevant departments of the company.
First, Li Junling expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the provincial, municipal, and district safety supervision bureaus, as well as the Ma Zhai Town Government, for taking time out of their busy schedules to attend the lecture hosted by Xindafang. He stated that, as a privately owned manufacturing enterprise, workplace safety is a robust safeguard for the company’s orderly operations; without it, there can be no talk of development whatsoever. At present, the company is also promoting the importance of workplace safety to its employees through various forms and channels, ensuring that everyone remains constantly vigilant about safety and putting safety first!
Subsequently, Chief Engineer Si Gong provided a detailed presentation covering such topics as safety management concepts, accident causation theories, analysis of hazardous and harmful factors, foreign safety management systems, China’s risk pre-control management system, the components of the risk pre-control management system, the establishment process for the risk pre-control management system, and the key elements of the principal responsibility for workplace safety in enterprises.
This lecture has been of great assistance in promoting the widespread dissemination of safety knowledge among enterprises, profoundly inspiring and benefiting all participants. During the event, the attending experts and leaders presented 120 copies of the “Safety Knowledge Reader” and 10 safety-training CDs to employees of Xinfada Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. who attended the lecture.
