Xin Dafang Selected as a Key High-Tech Enterprise under the National Torch Program
Xin Dafang News: According to the “Notice on the Release of the Selection Criteria for Key High-Tech Enterprises under the National Torch Program in 2012” (Guo Ke Huo Zi [2012] No. 245) published on the website for the administration of high-tech enterprise recognition, the selection process for key high-tech enterprises under the 2012 National Torch Program has been completed, and Xin Dafang has been listed among the winners.
The Torch Program is a guiding initiative for developing China’s high-tech industries, implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology (formerly the State Science and Technology Commission). Key high-tech enterprises under the National Torch Program are carefully selected from among high-tech enterprises nationwide as exemplary, industry-leading firms that have distinctive strengths in commercializing high-tech innovations. These enterprises serve as the backbone for enhancing China’s capacity for independent innovation, optimizing the industrial structure, transforming the development model, and driving the leapfrog development of China’s high-tech industries.
In this selection process, a total of six enterprises in Zhengzhou were recognized as key high-tech enterprises under the National Torch Program, and these companies are sure to serve as positive role models and drivers for the upgrading and development of Zhengzhou’s high-tech industry. As the sole heavy-industry enterprise selected, Xindafang feels a profound sense of responsibility and is committed to steadfastly pursuing independent innovation, thereby making further contributions to elevating the overall level of China’s specialized construction-equipment sector.
