Henan Province Key R&D Special Project: The joint research and development project “Key Technologies and Industrialization of a High-Load Intelligent Traction Platform” by Xindafang and Henan University of Technology has officially been launched.
On December 20, the joint research and development project “Key Technologies and Industrialization of a High-Load Intelligent Traction Platform,” conducted by Xindafang and Henan University of Technology, was officially launched at Xindafang.
Zhang Boqiang, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Henan University of Technology, along with members of the participating graduate research team, as well as Sun Cunliang, Deputy Director of the Xinfada Technical Center; Zhao Fangxing, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Technical Center; Tian Hualiang, Director of the Special Vehicle Research Institute; and other team members, jointly attended the project kickoff meeting.
The “Key Technologies and Industrialization of a High-Load Intelligent Traction Platform” project has been designated as a “Provincial Key R&D Special Project” by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The approval of this project will fill a critical gap in the province’s heavy-load intelligent transportation sector, promote the multidimensional and intelligent development of advanced transportation technologies, enhance the improvement of transport infrastructure, align with the innovative development needs of the equipment industry chain, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the province’s traditional transportation industry into an emerging intelligent transportation sector, and serve as a model and leader across multiple industries.
At the kickoff meeting, representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on how to leverage their respective strengths and resources to foster deep collaboration across industry, academia, research, and application—covering areas such as R&D planning, technological breakthroughs, talent development, and the commercialization of research outcomes—and to produce high-level results. Subsequently, Dean Zhang Boqiang and his delegation conducted on-site visits to production facilities and other frontline operations, expressing strong optimism about future cooperation.
Over the years, Xindafang has engaged in multi-level, multi-channel, and multidisciplinary deep collaborations with numerous domestic universities, including Beihang and Harbin Institute of Technology, in areas such as university–enterprise cooperation, industry–education integration, and teaching and research. Through joint technological problem-solving, Xindafang has not only effectively enhanced its core competitiveness in both domestic and international markets but also accelerated the commercialization of research outcomes at these universities.
This collaboration with Henan University of Technology is sure to yield abundant results, leveraging effective university–enterprise partnerships to advance the technological development of heavy-load intelligent transportation in our province and jointly making a positive contribution to the remarkable and impactful development of the Central Plains region!
