Xindafang Deploys and Launches the 2023 “Work Safety Month” Campaign

On the morning of May 30, coinciding with the commencement of the 22nd National Safety Production Month, Xindafang organized a mobilization conference themed “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies.”

Minister Wang of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department first read out the Action Plan for Safety Production Month, clarifying that the main objectives of this initiative are to uphold the principle of “safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management,” further reinforce awareness of the red line for safe production, effectively enhance intrinsic safety levels, and provide solid support for the company’s stable development.

Tao Yunfeng, General Manager of the Production Center, put forward clear requirements in light of the current safety production situation. He stated: “Our company has several hundred employees, and behind each employee stands a family. Every individual must shoulder the responsibilities and mission that belong to themselves, their families, and the company. We must remain constantly vigilant in our thinking, place safety production first, and further strengthen our sense of responsibility and urgency. The Safety Production Month campaign is not about creating a mere publicity effect; rather, it aims to foster a comprehensive safety culture, with a particular focus on enhancing the safety competence of all employees, promoting dynamic management of safety production, and establishing a safety accountability mechanism that leaves no one as a mere bystander—everyone is accountable.”

To further advance the implementation of principal responsibility for work safety and refine safety duties at all levels, “Safety Target Responsibility Agreements” were signed at every level on site, with each level overseeing and ensuring the performance of the next. Work safety is steadfastly treated as an inviolable red line, fostering a production environment in which everyone emphasizes safety and everyone takes responsibility for it. Subsequently, all personnel raised their right hands and solemnly took the Safety Oath. This oath is not a mere formality; it is a commitment, a responsibility, and a pledge to step up. Upon completion of the oath, each individual signed their name on the theme banner for Safety Production Month—“Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies”—as a constant reminder that safety responsibility rests squarely on their shoulders and that they must honor their commitments at all times.

This Safety Production Month campaign will also draw lessons from past accidents and enhance employees’ safety awareness through safety publicity, education, and training, as well as by viewing safety warning videos. It will conduct emergency response drills to improve employees’ capabilities in self-protection, self-rescue, and self-evacuation, and to strengthen their skills in handling emergency incidents. In addition, it will launch self-inspection and self-correction initiatives for potential hazards, ensuring comprehensive coverage both horizontally and vertically, with a focused crackdown on key areas of workplace safety. These efforts will effectively improve the quality of hazard identification and rectification, and firmly prevent all types of production safety accidents from occurring.

There are no small matters when it comes to workplace safety; workplace safety is of paramount importance. Xindafang will leverage the “Workplace Safety Month” campaign as a powerful catalyst for enhancing safety, rigorously focusing on key areas, critical processes, and priority personnel, thereby strengthening the safety foundation, building an unshakable defense against accidents, and elevating the level of safety management to provide robust support for the company’s high-quality development.
