Xindafang Grandly Holds the 2022 Annual Summary and Awards Ceremony and the 2023 “Lantern Festival Fun Activities”
On February 4, the fourteenth day of the first lunar month, as the traditional Lantern Festival draws near, Xindafang solemnly held its 2022 Annual Summary and Awards Ceremony along with the 2023 “Lantern Festival Fun Activities.”
The event kicked off with the rousing and uplifting anthem of Xindafang—“Flinging Our Dreams.” Chairman Zhang Zhihua delivered the opening address, beginning by extending his warmest holiday greetings to all colleagues and their families at Xindafang, and paying profound respect and heartfelt gratitude to every Xindafang employee who is tirelessly working on the front lines in their respective roles.
He described the past year of 2022 as “extremely challenging and profoundly unforgettable.” He noted that, despite the harsh realities of repeated COVID-19 lockdowns and an exceptionally tough market environment, Xindafang still achieved remarkable results that are truly inspiring. These accomplishments are attributable to the care and support of Party committees and governments at all levels, to the widespread concern and goodwill from all sectors of society, to the trust and confidence of customers both at home and abroad, and, above all, to every single Xindafang employee who has marched forward with heads held high, bravely shouldered heavy responsibilities, remained steadfast in their posts, and made silent, selfless contributions.
He emphasized that the company’s board of directors has outlined a promising blueprint for New Dafang’s development over the next three years: “taking the stabilization of the company’s core business as the key leverage, leveraging technological and business-model innovation as the means, and driving progress through product upgrades and industrial transformation.” With unified efforts across the organization, the company will tackle tough challenges and forge ahead, striving to achieve new growth in both product operations and the development of new industries, and to realize the development goal of “laying a solid foundation in the first year, seeing tangible results in the second year, and achieving significant breakthroughs in the third year.”
To promote positive energy and recognize outstanding role models, the event also featured on-site awards for Outstanding Employees, Outstanding Managers, the Best Dedication Award, and Outstanding Teams. Company leaders presented certificates of honor to the recipients and extended their congratulations, praising them as the backbone of the company’s development and calling on all employees to take them as examples and make their due contributions in their respective roles.
Following the conclusion of the summary and awards ceremony, all employees enjoyed a lively reunion dinner. Fifty-five tables were arranged in a single row, creating a grand and exceptionally festive atmosphere, as everyone raised their glasses and toasted to the future.
After the meal, a colorful array of Lantern Festival festivities was held. The event featured a variety of games, including raffles, lantern-riddle guessing, ring-toss, blindfolded ping-pong ball throwing, shuttlecock kicking, blind-box opening, dart-throwing, and fun tire races. Employees participated enthusiastically, with smiles lighting up everyone’s faces and the atmosphere buzzing with excitement.
On the fourteenth day of the first lunar month—the Day of Beginning of Spring—“li” marks the start of relentless striving, while “chun” embodies the bold pursuit of our dreams. At this moment, all things awaken from their winter slumber, brimming with vitality; the war drums of departure have already begun to beat, and the clarion call to battle has sounded; a new blueprint awaits our brushstrokes, and new peaks beckon us to scale them.
Amid the tumultuous waves of the vast sea, the steadfast pillar stands tall; among the towering, majestic mountains, the main peak commands supreme authority.
Xin Dafang will, with a sense of vigilance in times of peace, unwavering strategic resolve, and a vigorous, fighting spirit, unite as one and forge ahead with heads held high, making new and even greater contributions to the development of China’s specialized construction equipment!
