Technical Requirements for Gantry Cranes
Gantry crane This is a gantry crane specifically designed for bridge construction. The girder launcher consists primarily of a modular main girder, support legs, and an overhead traveling crane. Its components are connected by pin joints and high-strength bolts, facilitating disassembly and transportation; compared with conventional gantry cranes, it offers convenient, rapid, economical, and practical installation. It is ideally suited for road and bridge construction companies that frequently relocate their operations.
The girder-lifting machine can be used with two cranes or with a single crane equipped with two lifting attachments to lift precast girders. When operated by two cranes simultaneously, the lifting capacity typically reaches 450 tonnes; when operated by a single crane, the lifting capacity can usually reach 900 tonnes. Equipped with outrigger travel, trolley travel, and trolley lifting mechanisms, it enables fully automated, all-directional operations. Its primary applications include lifting precast girders from the girder fabrication platform to the storage platform and, after curing, from the storage platform to the girder transport vehicle. It also facilitates the assembly and disassembly of bridge-erection machines as lifting equipment and is used in the construction of low-pier dry bridges.
Technical requirements for the beam-lifting machine:
1. Reduce the operating speed of the lifting and traveling mechanisms to enhance the alignment accuracy of precast girders and minimize impact on the structure of the girder-launching gantry.
2. The internal space of the girder launcher must be sufficiently large to accommodate the lifting of precast girders and the assembly of the bridge-erection machine.
3. Subject to meeting the strength, stiffness, and stability requirements of the main steel structure, disassembly and transportation shall be taken into consideration.
4. When two sets of precast girders are lifted simultaneously, the two lifting rigs shall operate in synchrony.
