Xin Dafang Supports Xinghe Power in Successfully Launching Five Satellites in a Single Rocket Launch

Recently, news that “Xinghe Power Space Technology Co., Ltd. successfully launched the Ceres-1 (Yaosih) carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, smoothly placing five satellites from the Jilin-1 constellation into sun-synchronous orbit, thereby once again setting a new record for private commercial rocket launches and deliveries in China” has gone viral online, becoming the hottest topic of the moment.

Xinghe Power was founded by senior engineers from the aerospace industry and is a private space company specializing in low-cost commercial launch services. During this launch, the Xinfada DCY80 hydraulic modular transporter played a crucial role. The DCY series of hydraulic transport vehicles is a highly integrated mechatronic–hydraulic system and represents Xinfada’s flagship product, boasting mature technology. Its successful development once filled a domestic gap, shattered decades-long foreign technological monopoly in China, and has since become a mainstay of China’s specialized transportation sector.

The DCY80 hydraulic modular transporter is specially designed by Xindafang for the close-range transport of the Guishenxing-1 launch vehicle. The transporter’s main structure comprises a chassis, suspension system, drive axle, driven axle, steering mechanism, cab, powertrain, braking system, hydraulic system, control system, and electrical system, and it features capabilities such as on-road driving, figure-eight turning, diagonal travel, central slewing, oscillating turn (with swiveling front and rear ends), and 90 o It can operate in multiple modes, including lateral travel. This year in September, the transport vehicle successfully completed no-load and full-load tests, running vibration tests, wireless remote-control tests, and rapid-precision alignment tests, and subsequently passed the final acceptance inspection, with all technical performance indicators meeting the specified requirements.

The DCY80 hydraulic modular transporter not only performs transfer operations but can also be integrated with a launch pad to form a transport-and-launch vehicle, enabling direct transfer of the rocket erection system and the rocket itself from the assembly building to the launch site for rapid launch missions. This transport-and-launch vehicle features environmental temperature control, agile relocation and transportation, and rapid erection and launch capabilities, further reducing the pre-launch support requirements in the launch area. It shortens launch preparation time from four hours to one hour, effectively addressing the challenges of lengthy launch preparation and low launch frequency, and will provide ground support for the mass production and delivery of Ceres-1 commercial rockets.

In the past, space launches in China were exclusively the domain of the “national team.” However, with the gradual liberalization of national policies in recent years, a large number of private aerospace companies have rapidly emerged and grown. The recent launch of the Guishenxing-1 commercial rocket marks the first time that a domestic low-Earth-orbit constellation has employed a privately owned commercial launch vehicle for network deployment, thereby fostering the healthy development of the country’s commercial space industry ecosystem.

Looking ahead, Xindafang will continue to leverage its technological strengths in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, electrical systems, and structural design, stay abreast of industry trends, and pursue continuous innovation, thereby providing cutting-edge, high-quality specialized transport vehicles for China’s aerospace, port and terminal operations, shipbuilding, mining, tunneling, and other key sectors.
