Two DCJ70 tunnel bi-directional flatbed transport vehicles have been successfully shipped.
Xindafang News: At the start of September, amid the lingering warmth of midsummer, two more DCJ70 tunnel bi-directional flatbed transporters have been successfully commissioned and shipped out, soon to be deployed on the Shanghai Airport Connecting Line project.
The Shanghai Airport Link has a total length of 68.6 kilometers, with 56.7 kilometers underground and six underground stations. The line transitions to underground alignment upon passing Qibao Station and remains underground until it emerges at the Resort Area Station. The DCJ70 twin-track flatbed tunnel transporter is a specialized piece of equipment designed and manufactured specifically to meet the segment transportation requirements of the Shanghai Airport Link project. Since the project’s inception, Xindafang has deployed more than ten such transporters on the site.
The transport vehicle is a high-tech, integrated “mechanical–electrical–hydraulic” system that features an electronically controlled engine, a hydraulic torque converter and a power-shift transmission as its drive system, along with a fully hydraulic steering system. These subsystems are meticulously coordinated to optimize the vehicle’s overall technical performance and functionality, bringing its comprehensive capabilities and technological level in line with international advanced standards.
The transport vehicle’s power unit, transmission system, hydraulic steering, and braking system each exhibit unique performance characteristics. Its hydraulic torque converter and power-shift transmission are integrated into a single unit; the driver selects gear positions via a control lever, and the transmission’s internal control system coordinates seamless power-shifts, thereby ensuring stable speed and performance under heavy-load conditions. The suspension lifting system enables simultaneous full-lift or full-lower operations at all four support points, as well as independent lifting or lowering of individual points, thus meeting the requirements for tunnel transportation.
