Warm congratulations to Xindafang on winning the 2016 “China Good Design” Silver Award!

Xin Dafang News: On December 14, the “High-Level Forum on International Engineering and Technology Development Strategies—Innovative Design Forum and the 2016 China Innovative Design Conference” was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The Henan Provincial Major Science and Technology Special Project “Mountain Wind Power Installation Crane,” undertaken by Xin Dafang, was awarded the Silver Prize of the “China Good Design” for its advanced and innovative design.

The “China Good Design” Award is organized by the China Innovation Design Industry Strategic Alliance and adjudicated by a panel of distinguished academicians, including members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as leading experts and scholars from universities and professional associations at home and abroad. It is the premier, authoritative design award in China’s innovation design sector.

The “Mountain Wind Turbine Installation Crane” that has just been awarded features a novel design concept, seamlessly integrating mountain wind-farm construction solutions with equipment development. Safety, efficiency, environmental friendliness, and cost-effectiveness were set as the primary design objectives. The resulting equipment boasts capabilities such as resistance to sudden wind loads, autonomous travel on wet, slippery, steep slopes, rapid self-erection and dismantling, precise positioning and lifting at compact turbine sites, and remote-control operation. It successfully accomplishes wind-turbine installation tasks in mountainous terrain—tasks that are difficult or even impossible for 1,200-ton-class mobile cranes—and delivers significantly lower energy consumption. This breakthrough effectively addresses the longstanding challenges of mountain wind-farm installation in China, fills a domestic gap, and elevates the technology to an internationally leading level.
