Two Frontline Employees of Xindafang Featured on CCTV-1’s “News Broadcast”

Xindafang News: To mark the upcoming International Labor Day on May 1, China Central Television has launched a nationwide interview campaign titled “I Work, I Am Happy—Labor Is the Most Glorious.” The interviews primarily feature grassroots workers on the front lines of society, such as farmers and factory laborers, and our company is honored to be one of the interview subjects. On the afternoon of April 26, a CCTV delegation visited our production floor and conducted random interviews with workers who were actively engaged in their daily tasks.

The interviews focused on the impact and changes that work has brought to individuals’ lives, as well as the sense of fulfillment they have derived from it, and involved more than a dozen frontline employees. Among them, Zhao Yande, on-site supervisor in the Structural Workshop of the Production and Manufacturing Department, and Gong Zhanbin from the Bridge Crane Business Unit, shared their personal experiences and insights in straightforward, heartfelt language, exuding confidence and authenticity—qualities that earned them top honors in the national open-interview campaign. (According to reports, over a thousand people from across the country took part in the interviews for this initiative.) Their contributions were first selected for broadcast by the “Morning News” program on CCTV-1 on the morning of April 30, and subsequently featured on that evening’s “News Broadcast” on the same channel, appearing in the very first segment.

Zhao Yande and Gong Zhanbin have effectively exemplified the strong corporate ethos at our production front line—that “labor is the most glorious, the most noble, the most great, and the most beautiful”—while embodying the spirit of “I work, therefore I am happy” among frontline employees. Their exemplary conduct has enhanced the company’s positive social reputation and public image.
