Xin Dafang Secures Consecutive Contracts for China State Construction’s Algeria Highway Project

Good News: In January 2014, thanks to its strong international brand reputation and esteemed standing overseas, Xindafang successfully won the bid for the 53-kilometer section of the North–South Highway in Algeria, undertaken by the Algerian Branch of China State Construction Engineering Corporation. The company will supply eight units each of the MG25-26 and MG125-30A3 gantry cranes for this project.

The gantry crane is a transformation-and-upgrade product independently developed by Xindafang. The cranes ordered this time are equipped with variable-frequency drives for both the trolley and the bridge, use high-quality imported paint, and are fitted with safety devices such as anemometers, load limiters, lightning rods, and limit switches. The entire machine is powered by IP55-rated motors, which offer excellent water- and moisture-proof performance, ensuring safe, reliable operation and a long service life, thereby demonstrating considerable advanced features and superior performance compared with similar products. As stipulated in the contract, by the end of May our company had completed the manufacturing of all equipment as well as on-site assembly and commissioning, and the units were successfully shipped.

Recently, another piece of good news emerged: in a project tender for other equipment, China State Construction Algeria Branch once again extended an olive branch to Xindafang, placing an order for four highway bridge-erection machines and four sets of tire-type girder transporters. This move once again demonstrates that Xindafang’s comprehensive bridge-construction equipment has earned recognition and affirmation from the international bridge engineering community.
