Xin Dafang News, December 22: At the invitation of the Expert Committee on Group Standards of the China Machinery Industry Federation and under the auspices of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lifting Machinery, with Xin Dafang serving as the host, the review meeting for the group standard “Bridge Deck Gantry Cranes (Draft for Review)” was successfully held in Zhengzhou. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Lu Jianhu, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lifting Machinery. Mr. Hu Jiaming, Director of the Standards Division of the China Machinery Industry Federation, and Ms. Li Suqing, Director of the Standardization Division of the Zhengzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, attended the meeting and delivered remarks. Chairman Zhang Zhihua also attended and gave a welcoming address. Given the harsh working conditions, frequent use, and heavy lifting capacities of bridge deck gantry cranes, they are prone to safety incidents. Therefore, the formulation of this standard will fill an important gap in domestic standards, providing a technical basis for the design, manufacture, and operation of such equipment, and will play a positive role in enhancing product quality and safety while reducing the occurrence of accidents. The basketball court at the Xindafang Industrial Park was abuzz with lively chatter and excitement—today marked the grand opening of the annual Employee Sports Meet.
