Xindafang News, September 21: The 2020 occupational health examination program at Xindafang has officially commenced. In order to safeguard the physical and mental well-being of employees and prevent the occurrence of occupational diseases, Xindafang conducts an annual occupational health examination. The aim is to enable employees to gain a clear understanding of their own health status while enhancing their awareness and ability to prevent occupational diseases, thereby achieving “early detection and early intervention” and ensuring that they can devote themselves to their future work with a better state of mind. Xin Dafang’s independently developed self-adjustable 155-ton tire-type girder launcher will support India’s metro construction.

Xindafang News: Recently, two self-adjusting, 155-ton tire-mounted girder erectors independently developed by Xindafang have successfully arrived in India. Following remote guidance for installation, the main frame of the first unit has already been erected, and work is now underway on the electrical and hydraulic systems. Once commissioning is complete, the equipment will be deployed on the Mumbai Metro Line 4 project—the largest metro project in India. Typical tire-mounted girder erectors feature a fixed span and vertically aligned columns; however, in accordance with project requirements, this new machine adopts a curved-leg design that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, with the capability of automatically adjusting its span: during operation, the upper span is 24 meters and the lower span is 16 meters; when work is paused, the upper span contracts to 16 meters and the lower span to 8 meters. In essence, this is a “Transformers”-like machine—capable of automatic opening and closing, with its span dynamically adjustable from 24 meters down to 16 meters and then back up to 24 meters. Without the need for additional auxiliary equipment, it can efficiently, smoothly, and safely execute span adjustments, fully meeting the Indian client’s requirement of changing the span once per day. This innovative design is an original creation of Xindafang; currently, no similar equipment or technology exists in China. As such, this breakthrough fills a domestic gap and is now undergoing patent application. This equipment serves as a key entry point into the Indian market, where bridge-launching machines and girder transport vehicles have already begun to be deployed in high-speed rail and metro projects.

First Girder Successfully Launched at the Prefabrication Yard for the Hangzhou–Ningbo Expressway Duplication Project

Xin Dafang News, July 30: At the box-girder prefabrication yard for the Hangzhou–Ningbo duplicate line in Longshan Town, Ningbo, festive fireworks danced across the sky. Accompanied by a deep, rumbling roar, a 1,800-ton precast concrete box girder was slowly lifted into the air. The offshore section of the Hangzhou–Ningbo duplicate line employs an integrated-box-girder lifting-and-erection solution, with each girder measuring 49.4 meters in length, 16.3 meters in width, and 3.2 meters in height, and weighing 1,800 tons—making it the heaviest single-piece, fully prefabricated box girder ever lifted and erected in China to date. The task of lifting this massive girder was entrusted to the DLT1000 girder-lifting machine, independently developed by Xin Dafang. Two units of the DLT1000 simultaneously started up, gently raising the 1,800-ton, full-length box girder; the entire lifting operation proceeded smoothly and seamlessly in one continuous motion. Moreover, during its design, the DLT1000 took full account of potential future expansion and application: with only minor modifications, it can readily be converted into two 40/1000 girder-lifting machines for high-speed railway construction sites, significantly reducing customers’ procurement costs and enhancing the equipment’s reusability.
