Xindafang News, December 9: Good news emerged from the 2018 China Innovation Design Conference and the “Good Design” Awards Ceremony: the 1,000-ton-class precast concrete girder erection equipment developed by Xindafang was awarded the 2018 “Good Design” Silver Award. As the annual premier event in China’s innovation design sector, the “Good Design” Award is co-hosted by the China Innovation Design Industry Strategic Alliance and the Science and Technology Knowledge Center of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, with the aim of establishing an authoritative design accolade for China’s innovation design community. Since its inception in 2015, the China Innovation Design Conference and the “Good Design” Awards Ceremony have been successfully held four times. Notably, at the 2016 ceremony, Xindafang’s independently developed “Mountain-Use Wind Turbine Crane” was honored with the “Good Design” Silver Award. This year, the “Good Design” Award received a wide-ranging call for submissions, resulting in the selection of more than 100 entries. Following rigorous evaluation by 30 expert judges from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and various industries and sectors, 10 Gold Awards and 20 Silver Awards were ultimately conferred. As a leading enterprise in the domestic development of large-scale specialized construction equipment, Zhengzhou Xindafang has now won the “Good Design” Silver Award for the second time, once again highlighting the innovative strength driving the development of Zhengzhou’s equipment industry.

Xindafang News, October 30: The Zhengzhou Municipal People’s Government has issued the “Notice on the Recognition of the First Batch of High-Level Talents in 2018.” The inaugural list for 2018 comprises a total of 273 individuals, including 13 top-tier talents, 66 national-level leading talents, 51 local-level leading talents, and 143 locally distinguished contributors. Among them, Chairman Zhang Zhihua and Vice Chairman Chen Hao were each awarded the title of “Local-Level Leading Talent,” while Deputy General Manager Li Gang, Chief Engineer Chen Deli, Deputy Chief Engineer Lü Minghua, Chief Designer Dai Yu, and Chief Designer Sun Yongsheng—five individuals in all—were each recognized as “Locally Distinguished Contributors.” This round of selection covered key and emerging industries such as science and technology, education, health care, publicity and culture, biopharmaceuticals, intelligent manufacturing, and information technology. Since May, the process has involved individual applications, recommendations from employing units, reviews by competent authorities, expert evaluations against established criteria, verification by the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau against prescribed conditions, and final approval by the Municipal Government after deliberation, culminating in the determination of the first batch of recognized candidates. According to reports, to ensure that high-level talents can promptly and conveniently benefit from relevant policy incentives, Zhengzhou will issue the “Zhengzhou High-Level Talent Certificate,” which entitles holders to comprehensive services including household registration, residence visas, school enrollment for their children, and medical insurance. Relevant departments will also establish a green channel for talent services, designate dedicated service officers, and provide convenient, efficient, and standardized support tailored to the needs of high-level professionals.

Xindafang Holds “Correspondent Exchange Meeting and Outstanding Correspondent Recognition Ceremony”

Xindafang News, August 25: The Henan Provincial Conference on Promoting the Healthy Development of the Non-Public Sector was held at the Henan Provincial Party School Conference Center. Wang Guosheng, Secretary of the Henan Provincial Party Committee, and Chen Run’er, Governor of Henan Province, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Chairman Zhang Zhihua was invited to attend. The conference solemnly commended 100 outstanding figures in the non-public sector across the province as “Outstanding Builders of the Cause of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,” and Chairman Zhang Zhihua was successfully selected, earning the honor of being named a “Fifth Batch of Outstanding Builders of the Cause of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics from the Non-Public Sector” in Henan Province. Zhengzhou Xindafang’s QLY1760 Wind Turbine Crane Successfully Completes Type Testing

Xindafang News: Recently, Xindafang’s independently developed sixth-generation wind-turbine-specific crane, model QLY1760, successfully passed multi-condition type-testing and certification at the company’s plant. The QLY1760 wind-turbine-specific crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 106 tonnes, a total power rating of 440 kW, a maximum gradeability of 20%, a maximum lifting speed of 16 m/min, and a maximum travel speed of 5 km/h, making it suitable for the hoisting of wind turbines with a hub height of 125 meters and a rated power of 2.5 MW or less. The upper carriage features an upright tower design with in-position lifting, a multi-stage telescopic truss structure, hydraulic automatic pin insertion, automatic leveling, and self-erecting boom; the lower chassis incorporates integrated outriggers and a wheeled undercarriage, equipped with large-diameter off-road tires, independent suspension, independent steering, and multiple travel modes, enabling it to adapt to diverse wind-farm environments such as mountainous areas, hilly terrain, tidal flats, and plains—making it the optimal choice for onshore wind-turbine installation.

Wu Fumin, Vice Mayor of Zhengzhou, Visits and Provides Guidance at the Xindafang Girder Fabrication Yard on the Fourth Ring Road

Xindafang News: In view of the high technical requirements, large production volume, and tight schedule associated with the precasting of segmental girders for the Fourth Ring Road project, Wu Fumin, Vice Mayor of Zhengzhou, once again led an inspection team to the Xindafang Girder Fabrication Yard on the morning of July 18, following his March visit to assess progress at the site. Yang Huchen, Party Secretary of the Municipal Construction Commission and Commander of the Project Command Center, along with other relevant leaders, accompanied the delegation. Chairman Zhang Zhihua presented a work report. Vice Mayor Wu Fumin listened attentively to Zhang’s briefing on project progress. Subsequently, the inspection team toured the yard’s construction area, girder fabrication zone, and concrete mixing station, conducting detailed inquiries about project progress and the construction schedule, and offering constructive suggestions. The team expressed full appreciation for the yard’s operations, commending its “clear operational planning, robust process control, advanced construction techniques, and high level of standardization.” Finally, Vice Mayor Wu Fumin emphasized that the project team must prioritize construction safety, strictly adhere to girder fabrication operating procedures, strengthen on-site process control, meticulously and scientifically organize construction plans, and ensure coordinated allocation of equipment, all in order to meet deadlines, maintain quality, and achieve efficiency—thus completing the girder fabrication work to a high standard and under stringent requirements and making an even greater contribution to Zhengzhou’s development as a national central city.
