Xindafang Holds a Special Meeting on the 2013 Work Plan

At the 2013 Work Plan Conference, Chairman and President Zhang Zhihua and Executive Vice President Chen Hao emphasized the need to vigorously pursue transformation and upgrading to achieve the integration of manufacturing and service industries. On the morning of April 9, Xindafang convened a special meeting on the 2013 work plan. The meeting was attended by Chairman and President Zhang Zhihua, Executive Vice President Chen Hao, Vice President Gao Huijie, and other relevant leaders at or above the mid-level management rank, who jointly deliberated and formulated the company’s 2013 work plan and objectives. At the outset of the meeting, Chen Hao analyzed both the international and domestic economic landscape and, in light of the current market situation, clearly set forth the company’s overarching goal for 2013: to make substantial efforts toward transformation and upgrading—shifting from a mere equipment supplier to a provider of comprehensive solutions and achieving full integration between manufacturing and services. To ensure the smooth realization of this objective, the company undertook a detailed breakdown of the tasks, targets, strategic approaches, and improvement measures that each center and department must accomplish. With regard to the Marketing Center, the primary focus for 2013 remains consolidating existing markets while accelerating the development of new markets, including overseas markets, and ensuring timely recovery of funds. The overall marketing strategy can be summarized as “one transformation and five key areas of emphasis.” The transformation involves moving away from the narrow sales-oriented mindset of “marketing equals sales” and adopting a more scientific marketing philosophy that integrates operations with sales—transitioning from a pure equipment seller to a service provider capable of delivering end-to-end marketing solutions and comprehensive service packages. The five key areas of emphasis are the shifting focus of railway construction, as well as the development of urban rail transit, water conservancy projects, shipbuilding, and logistics systems encompassing railway marshalling yards and ports.

Xindafang Receives 400,000 Yuan in National Standardization Awards

Xindafang News: The national standard “General Technical Requirements for Bridge-Erecting Machines” (GB/T 26470-2011), co-drafted by Xindafang, has been approved and promulgated by the National Standardization Administration Committee and put into effect, earning the company a reward fund of RMB 400,000. In 2012, Xindafang comprehensively implemented the “Opinions of the People’s Government of Henan Province on Implementing the Standardization Strategy,” vigorously advanced standardization efforts, actively explored standardization of products and services, pursued independent innovation, and continuously improved its enterprise standardization system, achieving notable results. Since 2008, the company has engaged standardization expert Guo Yanfang to drive standardization initiatives; the Technology Center has rigorously enforced regulatory management systems, conducted standardized review of engineering drawings, carried out extensive training for technical personnel, and closely monitored and inspected changes to drawings. Owing to its outstanding performance, the company was awarded a RMB 200,000 standardization incentive fund by the Zhengzhou Municipal Government in 2009. In recent years, the company has successively formulated 14 enterprise standards and has served as the lead drafter or participated in the drafting of 2 national standards and 6 industry standards. Xindafang News: The First Session of the 12th Henan Provincial People’s Congress was solemnly inaugurated at the Provincial People’s Hall from January 21 to 30, 2013, with an official duration of nine and a half days. A total of 952 deputies representing all sectors across the province, entrusted with the weighty mandate of the people of Henan, gathered to deliberate and formulate plans for the next stage of development. As a deputy to the 12th Henan Provincial People’s Congress, Chairman and President Zhang Zhihua attended the session.
