Xin Dafang News: The project “Key Technologies, Product Development, and Engineering Applications of Segmental Prefabricated Bridge-Erecting Machines for Urban Transportation,” developed by Xin Dafang, has been awarded both the 2013 Zhengzhou Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress and the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements in Industry and Information Technology of Henan Province. The evaluation was conducted by review panels organized respectively by the Zhengzhou Science and Technology Bureau and the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. With approval from the Zhengzhou Science and Technology Bureau, the project was designated in 2008 as a major science and technology special project of Zhengzhou (Project No.: 082ZGB5025). The segmental prefabricated bridge-erection machine series developed under this project is primarily used for the construction of precast segmental suspended erection of urban rail transit bridges. It is a new type of bridge-erection machine that can meet the requirements of erecting bridges with small curves and steep gradients in urban rail transit projects, accommodating spans from 30 m to 50 m, with a rated lifting capacity of 500–1,200 t, precast girder segments weighing 50–200 t, a maximum longitudinal gradient of ±5%, a transverse gradient of 2%, and a minimum curve radius of 380 m. This equipment fully satisfies the major construction needs of domestic urban rail transit bridge projects, replacing the original on-site cast-in-place construction method using full scaffolding and overcoming the drawbacks of long construction periods, severe disruption of normal traffic flow, and environmental pollution associated with urban rail transit construction. Since the project’s inception, Xin Dafang, leveraging the strong R&D capabilities of the National Enterprise Technology Center and with the Bridge-Erecting Machine Design Office as the core, has established a project R&D team to conduct key technical analyses of urban rail transit construction conditions, carry out joint research and development on critical technologies, and complete

Xindafang News: On the afternoon of July 23, Jin Suidong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, paid a visit to Xindafang for an inspection tour, accompanied by Li Xiuqi, Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference; Wang Xichuan, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference; Cai Hong, Secretary of the District Party Committee; and district leaders Yu Guangzhi, Chen Aiping, and Wu Shuwen. Sun Cunliang, Deputy General Manager of the Company’s Marketing Center, also joined the delegation. At the test track, Sun Cunliang provided a brief overview to the group of more than 40 people, including Jin Suidong, on the company’s development history, business areas, and key products. The delegation then toured the final assembly workshop and watched a live demonstration of the power-plat transport vehicle. Chairman Jin thoroughly inquired about the company’s investment in technology, market conditions, and capacity expansion, highly commending the company’s commitment to technological innovation and independent R&D. He encouraged the enterprise to further increase its R&D spending, master core technologies, and enhance product quality, while urging relevant government departments to provide effective support and services to the company. In particular, Chairman Jin emphasized that, as a manufacturing enterprise, it must place great importance on the “three highs”: high technology, high skills, and high-level management. He stated that manufacturing should leverage cutting-edge technology—leading the industry—to drive corporate growth; cultivate a workforce with high technical expertise to ensure product quality and promote enterprise development; and adopt scientific, rational, and high-standard management practices to underpin sustainable growth. Only in this way can enterprises strengthen their core competitiveness and remain invincible in market competition.

The fourth-generation QLY1560 wind turbine crane has successfully rolled off the production line.
Xindafang News: On June 21 of this year, our company’s independently developed QLY1560 fourth-generation wind-turbine crane successfully completed a lifting test at 1.25 times its rated capacity, marking the successful completion of the series of load-handling trials. Coupled with the earlier successful completion of tests covering travel, vehicle-to-boom folding, tower and boom extension/retraction, hydraulic automatic pin insertion, and boom self-erection, this milestone signifies that the model has now been fully commissioned and has rolled off the production line! As a clean energy source, wind power is leading China’s green-energy development and playing a crucial role in energy conservation and emissions reduction. According to the National Energy Administration’s “12th Five-Year Plan for Wind Power Development,” grid-connected installed capacity is expected to reach 100 million kilowatts by 2015. Meanwhile, the National Development and Reform Commission’s “China Wind Power Development Roadmap to 2050” projects a target of 1 billion kilowatts by 2050—enough to meet 17% of the nation’s electricity demand. The outlook for the wind-power market is highly promising. In terms of domestic wind-power development trends, wind turbines of 2 MW and above will dominate the market in the coming years; moreover, as more and more wind farms are located in hilly and mountainous terrain, large crawler cranes are ill-suited to such conditions, while large all-terrain cranes are prohibitively expensive and available in limited quantities on the market. The QLY9096A third-generation wind-turbine crane has performed exceptionally well at hilly and mountainous wind farms in Sanmenxia, Huajialing in Gansu Province, and Datong in Shanxi Province, demonstrating advantages such as flexible relocation, strong climbing capability, low road requirements, and a small required working platform. These strengths have earned it high praise and recognition from project owners, construction contractors, and supervisory agencies alike. Based on a deeper understanding of the wind-power market and the issues revealed during field operations with existing models, our company has decided to develop a new generation of wind-turbine cranes—the QLY1560.
