World’s Longest Undersea High-Speed Rail Tunnel TBM Rolls Off the Production Line
On February 26, the “Yongzhou,” an ultra-large-diameter tunnel boring machine adorned with a “Ruilong” motif on its cutterhead, rolled off the production line in Changsha, Hunan Province. With a cutterhead excavation diameter of 14.57 meters, it will be deployed in the construction of the Ningbo portal section of the Jintang Subsea Tunnel on the Yongzhou Railway—the world’s longest undersea high-speed railway tunnel.

At 10:58 a.m. on December 8, the Fuxing smart EMU train G4830 slowly departed from Zhengzhou East Station bound for Jinan. As the inaugural train on the entire Zhengzhou–Jinan High-Speed Railway, it is scheduled to arrive at Liaocheng West Station in Shandong at 12:12 p.m., at Chiping Station at 12:27 p.m., and in Jinan at 12:58 p.m.

At 8:30 a.m. on September 26, 2023, the G9726 Fuxing smart EMU departed from Guangzhou East Station and arrived punctually at Shanwei Station 73 minutes later, marking the official opening and operation of the newly built Guangzhou–Shanwei section of the Ningbo–Guangzhou High-Speed Railway (hereinafter referred to as the Guangshan HSR).

At 23:00 on September 9, with the departure of test train No. 55001 from Puyang East Station, joint commissioning and trial operations officially commenced on the newly constructed Puyang–Henan–Shandong section of the Jizheng High-Speed Railway (from Puyang East Station to the newly built Nanle Station), signaling that the full-line opening of the Jizheng HSR is now in the final countdown.
